Our Story

Dancestars burst onto the scene in 2006, thanks to the vision of then principal Jennifer Carver (née Zurek)! For a decade, she brought joy and movement to the halls of Bradford, creating a vibrant dance community. Ellie joined the Dancestars family in its first year and has been shining ever since!

After an amazing 10-year journey as an amateur dancer at Dancestars, Ellie Hawes achieved her dream by qualifying as an associate Disco Freestyle teacher with the ISTD in 2018. With 6 years of teaching experience and outstanding competition and exam results from her talented dancers, she’s off to a fantastic start in her career!

Now, Ellie is at the helm of Dancestars, leading exciting classes at Clayton Gospel Hall every Wednesday and Saturday. Join the fun and dance with us!
